There is tinkering, hammering and measuring, and finally it’s complete. ![]() “She is going to make the most MAGNIFICENT thing!” Along with her trusty assistant, she gathers her supplies and gets to work. THE MOST MAGNIFICENT THING And for our final piece of excellence, today’s book. It has started a very cool hashtag on twitter where women working in various STEM type fields have posted photos of their footwear and descriptions of their jobs. Girls like dinosaurs too, was basically her sentiment. A small English girl was very sad when she discovered a shoe store was selling Dinosaur shoes, but they were only for boys. #INMYSHOES I have just come across this wonderful story (thanks Tosca). STEM This stands for Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths, and there is currently a real push to encourage girls to pursue careers in STEM.
